In the burrow

((Kay I'm going to skip to 2 weeks after Flower had her pups))

Flower came out of the burrow and stretched. She stood up to sun herself. She was a mother again. She had a litter of 4 pups. 3 girls and 1 boy. Her son's name was Adam and her daughter's names were Pansey, Dixie, and Lorali. Flower was happy to be a mother and she was in a much better mood now. The adults had begun clearing the entrance way to the burrow. Today was a very special day, it was the day that the pups came out of the burrow for the first time.

Flower needed to choose babysitters to stay behind and keep an eye on her pups. Kooky her daughter had already been accepted back into the group. She would need all the paws she could get to raise these 4 fiesty pups. Once everybody came above ground Flower made her anouncment. "Everybody the pups will be coming out for the first time today and I am choosing the Babysiters. I'm choosing Kooky, Heir, Skylier, and Jayden." Flower looked around and found Kooky and Jayden talking. The two sisters would understand what Flower was about to ask of them.

Flower approached the two and said, "I need you two to keep an eye on Heir and Skylier I guess that they love each other and I need you guys to keep an eye on them." In response to Flower the two sisters nodded their heads and went to the burrow. The pups had finally come out and Flower went over and groomed all of them.

Flower lead the group away from the burrow and hoped her Daughters would make sure that the two Meerkats wouldn't do anything to put the pups in danger.

Skylier was baby setting the new born pups while Flower was away. She and the others were grooming them one by one. She ove them so much. They were the newest members in the grup and the smallest. She needed to watch them very close they were curiousabout everything. They were the cutest things that she had ever seen. Their fur was really soft and smooth also silky.

She was with heir and all they said to eachother was hello. They both knew that the others were orders to keep an eye on them. She did not like all the eyes on her all the time. She knew heir did not like it either he was getting paranoid. They both were sad that they could not be together for a while at least.

Flower looked around at their new foraging patch and she smiled. Food was just what she needed especially if she was going to feed the pups. She smiled and started digging, and luckily she found a juicy looking milipede. Flower quickly gobbled it up and looked to see if anyone else was as succesful.

Little did Flower know that someone was making their way to the burrow stealthily. It was a roving Meerkat and his name was Jordan. He was on the lookout for the ladies. He didn't realize however that he was headed to the Dominator's burrow. When he finally caught up with them he spotted one lady who he liked. It was Skylier, and he was even more charming than Heir. He made it so that only Skylier could see him, after all no one could resist his charms.

Flower was still looking for more food when she came across a Puff Adder. This deadly snake would love to eat a Meerkat for lunch but Flower didn't want to be on the menu. Floewr wouldn't leave though because she couldn't risk leaving a deadly snake this close to the burrow. She immediately started spit calling. This spit calling would get the rest of The Dominator's attention and it would warn the snake to leave immediately.

She noticed that a rover meerkat was making his way over to her. Skylier was interested and he was handsome and looked nice. Heir was sitting right there though and no one else noticed that he was there exept her. She sounded the call that a rover was here and heading towards the Doninators territory. She liked him and thought that ehwas thinking that the pups were hers.

Theywere not and she was not the dominate. He called that his name was Jordan and wanted to get to know her. That was a little awkwark, but nice. He was putting on his charm and what do you know Skylier knew it. He started to walk slower. It was like he was in slow mo all the time. It was annoying and well quite attractive.

Soon the whole gang was trying to tell the snake to leave. This snake didn't listen though, it was very stubborn. Will her son was behind it and he kept biting it's tail. Unfortunately for one Meerkat their life would end that moment. The snake attacked and it struck...Nick on the head. Normally Meerkats wouldn't die instantly but for some reason he did. That was the last straw for Flower. She bit the snakes tail so hard it left as fast as it could.

This was a sad day for the Dominator's their new Dominant male was killed by a snake. Flower knew this was a sad moment but she had no time to morn the loss of her mate for she had to continue foraging and get enough food to produce milk for her pups.

Jordan smiled slyly and backed up a little beckoning her to follow him. Luckily the other three Meerkats were trying to break up a fight that broke out between the pups. He knew that she wasn't the Dominant Female because the Dominant Female never babysits the bpups. She does after all have to lead the group foraging.

Jordan was still motioning for her to follow but she refused. She was scared though. Hier looked at her and then at Jordan. He was mad that he had comprtition now. He said to Skylier "Take care of this pup I have some business to take care of." She took the pup and watched them close.

Heir was mad and took it out on Jordan. Skylier was proud of Heir, but sad for the rover. He seemed nice but too riskey. '' Heir please stop you do not have to worry about anything I would never of gone with him in the first place now come back and groom the pup would you please." He came and stopped after she had told him too.

"You know I would of totally ran him off." Heir said. She just nodded in reply.

Jordan was still beckoning the female to follow him, but she refused to follow. Jordan thought for a moment and wondered what he should do when he was suddenley attacked by a bigger male Meerkat. Jordan attempted to escape and when he did he ventured away from the burrow. Eventually he came across the rest of the group.

Flower was looking around for any rival groups or any new potential mates. Flower was the one who was effected by Nick's death the most. Now she needed to look towards the future and help make the group stronger. There was no time to morn over her loss now. She was happy that she had the whole family to try and cheer her up but she was worried even more about Skylier and her brother Heir. Now if they were to mate Skyler would most likely get tired of being a subordinate and fight Flower for the role of Dominant.

Flower was too busy foraging to notice that one of the females, Lola, was distracted by the roving male, Jordan. Flower would not like the two of them being together. Lola couldn't ignore Jordan however so she and him went off alone.

Lola finally returned to the group. Flower was about to lead the group off back home when she spotted Lola. She immediately ran to her. Flower could smell that she had been with a rover, and that was not acceptable. She began biting her tail base until she was bleeding and she ran away. Flower immediately led the group back to the burrow.

When Jordan went with the other female Skylier was reliefed and happy that she was out of his sight. Lola was ran off by Flower. Skylier was still with Heir grooming one of Flowers pups. Skylier loved to play around with the little pups and help make them stronger. They were already really nice and strond.

Hier wold rassle them and tackle them playingly. They would smile and giggle and also nip and him. She could tell that he was having a blast when it was his shift. The pups loved him also when he came they would always jump and tackle him.
