Happily Hopping ((Acceptance))

Skylier was just walking along on all fours with her paws kicking up dirt after each step. She noticed that she crossed The Dominaters land. She skurried back quickly she did not what the make a bad impression. She wanted to be a part of this group for a long time and wanted to have some worthy."Hello is there any one ready to accept." She said in a quivering voice.

Flower was digging around in the sand looking for food. Will was standing watch while everyone else foraged. Flower being the leader of the Dominators for a while was well known by all the Meerkats in the Kalahari. The alarm was sounded and Flower immediately looked up from the dirt and noticed a lone Meerkat in the distance. "Hold on everyone...I'll take care of this" Flower slightly growled while leaving everyone behind. As Flower advanced towards the lone Meerkat.

Everybody in The Dominators knew that Flower could be trusted in handling this situation herself. Flower was by far the meanest Meerkat on the manor and her mind was set on knowing why this Meerkat was here and what they wanted. The closer Flower got however, the more she realized that this Meerkat was a lone female, which was very uncommon. Now Flower was a few inches away from the Female. Flower raised her tail up high while keeping her posture on all fours.

"Who are you? And why are you here?" Flower asked in a demanding voice. Flower eyed the Meerkat, she noticed that this Meerkat was a little bit thinner than a Meerkat should be. Flower wondered why this female was wandering alone. She must have been evicted from a group Flower thought. She felt sort of bad for this female, she had no home and she had just been spotted by the fiercest Meerkat group on the manor. Perhaps she means no harm and maybe since most of the group left she could be valuable to the survival of The Dominators. Flower thought while looking at the scared Meerkat.

"Hello I an Skylier. I am here because I had been wandering around and had been shunned from another manor anround here and I wanted to be accepted into another group. I did nothing bad if that is what you are thinking of me I was just a little too feairce around the other meerkats and they kicked me out." Skylier said as a reply to Flower. She was brave in her speaking and trying to make a great inpression to Flower to get accepted and to prove that she was worthy of being here.

Flower looked at the female intent on her answering her quickly because she was losing precious foraging time. Flower knew that females got evicted for many reasons, because she was preagnant, because she tried to take over the group, or because the leader needed to blow off steam from the strain of leadership. Flower looked back at the group and saw that they were anticipating her own lead calls for them to attack the rover. Flower looked back at the rover and waited for her to respond.

Flower nodded showing that she was listening. On the inside she smirked and thought Too fierce eh? Well we will just see about that.Flower opened her mouth to speak but closed it when she saw a juicy looking centipede and smirked showing the fang that was facing Skylier. Flower watched the centipede for a while until she couldn't resist it anymore, she swiped it up faster than you could say Hello. Flower held the helpless centipede and looked at Skylier. She grinned slightly and chewed on the centipede while showing Skylier how aggresive she was.

Flower swallowed the centipede and turned her attenion back to the female Meerkat "Well what GROUP were you in before. The manor is the whole Kalahari desert that us Meerkats live in. Tell me your back story and why you wanted to join this group. You better hope that you get the right answer."
Flower replied a bit threateningly. If this female wanted to join THIS group she was going to have to be a pretty important Meerkat or a valuable one. She looked over at Will and nodded reasuring him that everything was okay.

Skylier was not shocked that Flower was really aggressive. She was that type also, she wanted that centipede but she was too fast. Skylier was really hungary at the tie, she had not eaten in a while. She was really just trying to get into another manor and be of some worth. Flower asked a serious question and thought that she should reject her if she had heard. Skylier was kind of scared to tell but she got the courage to talk.

"I was in the Lucarian Manor and I had a fight with the leader. She was the worst, not mean just not including everyone, I would not mind mean at all. She was not accepting that others were not replicas of her own self. I fought her and I was really hurt with a broken leg and paw. She banned me and said to never return for forgivness. So I have been wandering for a while trying to find the right one manor that would fit me. Here I am trying to ask for acceptance. That is all that can come to my mind right now Flower." Skylier said in reply to her request.

Flower looked directly into Skylier's eyes trying to find some weakness in her. Flower thought she saw a flicker of fear in her eyes and Flower smirked at this. The Meerkat was afraid of her eh? Well Flower was very happy about that. Flower looked up into the sky because she wasn't sure if she would be able to hear any of the sentry's alarm calls. In the distance Flower could just barley make out a bird flying around and it looked like a Vulture. Flower wasn't so worried about this bird because they only feed on the dead.

Flower looked at Skylier suspiciously. How did she know her name? How long had she been following the group? Why was she here particularly? These questions raced through Flower's head until she finally opened her mouth to speak. "How do you know my name? And explain further how the leader of your GROUP was so terrible. Just to let you know again there are groups not Manors there is only one manor and all the Meerkats live on it which is why we call it Meerkat Manor."

Flower looked at the inexperienced Meerkat. What in the world happened with this battered little Meerkat. No matter what happened to her in the past it mattered what she would do for the group in the future. Why exactly had she not been killed yet. It was typical after all for lone females to be killed off. Flower heard that an ex Whisker (Another group from the show Meerkat Manor) Mozart was killed by a Jackel.

Skylier was surprised that another meerkat plainly said her name. "Well I heard that other meerkat had said a name that fit you so I said it to see what you would say. The leader would just lay in the dirt and she would make us do all the work for her area. She did nothing to help. She was really lazy and all she was working was her vioce. I know that the leader needs to take conrtol but not do nothing she could of at least helped us out a little once in a while. And yes I do know the word manor just slipped out of my mouth sorry about that."

As she thought about this awful memory shivers went down her spine. She saw a catepillar and sticked out her teeth and ripped it into slices to eat it. She gullped the pillar down her throat. She love how it tasted into her mouth and the texture. It was really tasty after her hunger had been going on.

Flower cocked an eyebrow and looked at the lone Meerkat. Perhaps she could be of some use to the group. Flower looked at Skylier and showed her teeth. "Now Tell me why I should let YOU join MY group" Flower demanded. Flower looked up when she thought that she heard an alarm call. Flower noticed that a hawk had edged closer to where they were. Flower needed to quickly finish this acceptance or this turn down.

Flower looked at the catepillar before Skylier swiped it up and ate it. Flower growled slightly and waited impatiently for the reply. Flower had an itch and she turned around to scratch it. When she did she saw that one female of the group was acting as if she was the dominant of the group. Flower however took no serious threat to her and when she got back if the female wanted to challenge her Flower would either kill her or evict her.

Skylier looked whereFlower was lookind and spat out her answer. I can dig really good I can go weeks without food and water. I would love to have friends. I can watch for any preadaters and give the warning call really loud and distinctly. I can watch for treesspassers also and I can help with the burrows in the ground for me and others."

Skylier was not that scared. She just did not want to go to her death that soon. She was waiting until she either excipted her or not. She wanted to hide from the hawk. She did not want Flower to die either.

Flower sighed and looked back at Skylier. "Alright I'll give you a chance but remember if you mate with a rover you will pay the ultimate price" Flower turned and trotted on back to the group. The female that had taken over punishing others for no reason looked at Flower and smirked. "Well Flower I think your reign is up for the Dominators" Flower smirked as the family gathered around. Nobody wanted to miss the show off between two possible leaders. Everyone knew that nobody should interfere with two Females battling for Dominance.

Flower rose her tail up to show that she wouldn't lose her Dominant role. The female , Polo, raised her tail high too. That was the last straw for Flower, she did give Polo a chance to give up but she refused to. Flower lunged at Polo, but Polo was able to match Flower's every move. Flower had enough and started to bite Polo's tail base. Polo whimpered slightly but stayed down. Polo had given up and she had a bloddy scar to prove it. Flower continued biting her tail base until she was run off the Dominator's territory.

Flower came back victorious and she scent marked everyone showing that the family was still going to be the same and to reassure their family bond. Flower looked at Skylier and smiled a bit. The alarm call was sounded and they all scurried to a bolt hole. Flower was the last into the bolt hole. One thing that she did notice however was that all the Dominators weren't there. In fact the group was split in two.
